- If you are using Windows give a right-click or control-click in case of Mac OS.
- According to your browser select the appropriate save or download option:
- Save link as for Google Chrome.
- Save Target As for Internet Explorer.
- Save Link As for Firefox.
- Download Linked File for Safari.
- Be sure that for the file type Adobe Acrobat Document is selected.
- Now save the file.
- If the dialog box of Save As doesn’t appear that means the file is downloaded automatically by your browser, may be in a separate downloads window.
- Find the saved PDF and to open it give the double click on its name. If the browser opened the window in a separate downloads window then double-click the PDF in the list.
- Open your reader or acrobat.
- Tap Help and then click Check for Updates.
- Hit ‘Yes’ if the Update dialog box appears. The installation of any update will be done automatically.
- Now restart the system.
To Repair Using Control Panel:
- Firstly exit Reader or Acrobat.
- Now do any of these:
- On the task bar, right click the Start button and click Control Panel FOR Windows 10/8
- Go to Start and then click Control Panel for Windows 7/XP
- Go to Program and then to Programs & Features on Windows 10/8/7.
- Give double-click on Add or Remove Programs on Windows XP.
- Select Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat in the list of programs.
- Now give a click on Change button and follow the instructions to repair the app.
- As the process completes, hit on Finish.
- Tap Help.
- Perform this last step by clicking Repair Installation.
